I'm a cemetery, monuments and glass conservator with a keen interest in the painted wall. and vernacular architecture. My childhood home featured itinerant faux finishes form the mid-1840s in the form of graining and highly stylised marble which peaked my interest in this often overlooked art. Over the years, I've had training on the conservation of decorative finishes and gilding (in England) and thus am eager to learn more.
